Here's my Christmas Workout! No equipment needed! (A toddler is not necessary but makes it more fun!).
A workout for fat loss and toning to do at home during this festive season - no gym or equipment necessary! My niece Eliza was a great workout partner - she's not even 2 years old yet! Watch the video for our exercise demonstrations. Rep ranges below.
Here's the workout. It's just a simple circuit. Complete 3 - 6 rounds (depending on fitness and motivation levels!). Jogging on the spot for 3 mins to warm up.
1 x burpee tuck jump
2 x side planks with reach unders (12 left side then 12 right side)
3 x walk out with leg lifts (3 each side)
4 x super slow press ups
5 x side lunges (5 left then 5 right)
6 x squat jumps
7 x jack-burpees
8 x mountain climbers
9 x reverse lunges with leg raise (9 left then 9 right)
10 x leg kick outs with crunch
11 x jump in-outs
12 x single leg glutes
1 min rest (x 3 - 6 rounds)
Wardrobe: Eliza chose her workout wear today - her new pyjamas with her new weird sock/trainer thingys. (A base layer was required in addition to the pyjamas due to the windy weather here in Wellington!)
