I find many people are too preoccupied with their body weight and use it as the sole measure of their success in losing body fat. As the picture illustrates 5 pounds of fat looks a lot different to 5 pounds of muscle. If you are working out correctly you will be building more muscle and losing fat. Therefore you may weigh the same but you are likely to look smaller, your body measurements will be decreasing and you will look more toned and less bumpy in addition to your clothes will feel looser. That to me would be a success... so lets stop focusing on one little number which can be very demotivating and lets get building some muscle and shedding the fat.
